Rates are subject to the applicable location taxes. Rates are based
on availability at the time of booking and may be subject to
blackout periods. |
All vehicles have automatic
transmission with air conditioning. Rates include Free
unlimited mileage. Rates are based on 24-hour rentals, 29
minutes grace period, before overtime is charged. No fee to
add spouse as 2nd driver or "significant other" with the
same address on their driver's license. All drivers must be
at least 25 years of age, with a major credit card. Rates
are subject to the applicable Hawaii General Excise tax, the
vehicle Licensing fee, the applicable Airport Concession
Recovery Fee and the Hawaii Highway Revenue surcharge,
currently $3 per day. All rates are subject to change

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Drivers aged 21 - 24 are subject to a $27/day
young driver surcharge

a Debit card. Debit cards must have either the
MasterCard or Visa logo. A minimum hold of $300
will be applied to debit card rentals
Quoted rates do not include optional insurance,
taxes, the Vehicle Licensing fee, the applicable
Airport Concession Recovery Fee and the Hawaii
Highway Revenue surcharge ($3/day). Renters will be
responsible for all charges directly to the rental
location.
Daily rentals are based on a 24 hour period.
Weekly rates are based on 6 or 7 consecutive days
rental on one island only.
Late Return Charges:
Rates are based on a 24 hour rental period. Late
returns are assessed an hourly charge at a rate
equal to 1/3 the daily rate up to but not exceeding
the daily rate.

Optional Insurance
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) relieves the renter of all
financial responsibility for loss or damage to the
Avis car as long as they comply with the terms of
the Avis rental agreement: $22.99 -26.99 /day
Partial Damage Waiver (All Car Groups): $7.99/day
Additional Liability Insurance (ALI) provides
additional protection for bodily injury or death and
property damage and increases the limits to one
million dollars: $10.95/day
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) provides
accidental death and emergency medical expense
benefits to the renter and all passengers in the
Avis car: $3/day Plus package $6/day
Personal Effects Protection (PEP) insures the
personal belongings of the renter and the immediate
family members who are traveling with the renter.
